Be transported to Amer Fort in India, where I stood on a bridge overlooking a fisherman who was casting his net out. The orange of Amer Fort's walls were glimmering in the distance. When I painted this in watercolor I applied rapid and precise brushwork to keep a fresh sense of the water’s movement. I used a mixture of watercolor and white gauche on a thick 18 x 18" watercolor paper to achieve a soft transition between color applications.
The original painting has sold, but prints are available in the ‘Open Edition Prints’ section of my website.
